Queralt Lahoz has been, without a doubt, one of the musical sensations of recent years in Spain. Winner of last year's Music Moves Europe Award her music has transcended borders grazing stages around the globe such as Vive Latino in Mexico, SXSW & Summer Stage in USA, or Sziget in Hungary, while also visiting Brazil, Colombia, or France to name a few. Born in Santa Coloma de Gramenet, a humble Andalusian migration low-income neighbourhood on the outskirts of Barcelona, Queralt Lahoz lyrics talk of her friends and family's daily ordeals, constantly alluding to the working women of her life, coming back to her suburban childhood, introducing everyday late-Millennials aspirations and longings, drawing a flowery bridge between past, present and future, giving her music that unmistakable character. Queralt Lahoz has one of the most impressive voices on the scene, with the ability to sing a classic bolero and rap in the purest 90s style with the same skill and power.
